Choir

Choir is a place where grades third through fifth come together to sing. Students work on proper vowels, breath control, and music literacy skills.

The Weber Elementary Choir performs at various events such as a Denver Nuggets game, holiday events and Pomona High School.

Melody Sebald

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Dakota and am currently pursuing my Master of Music Degree with a concentration in Kodály from Colorado State University. I started my teaching career in 2020 at Weber Elementary, and I've been working at the school since then. I moved to Colorado with my husband who is gaining his doctorate in collaborative piano. I started working at BAE in 2022. I have a strong focus towards music literacy, singing, and movement in my classroom. My goal is to help build musicians who actively participate in music for the rest of our lives.

Outside of Jeffco, I work for the Boulder Children’s Chorale, where I direct the youngest choir, Piccolini. I am also an active member of ACDA, NAfME, and OAKE. In my spare time, I like to play board games, cook, play pickleball, and read.
