Art Club

Is a seasoned visual art teacher with over 10 years of dedicated experience in nurturing a diverse range of learners. She earned her Bachelor's of Fine Arts and K-12 Art Education license from Metropolitan State University in 2014. Desiree's teaching expertise spans cross-curricular development, choice-based lessons, assessment strategies, and inclusive differentiation. Outside the classroom, Desiree channels her creativity into drawing flowers and portraits of people and animals. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, finding joy in activities like snowboarding, fishing, and downhill mountain biking. Her furry companion, Smooch the Pooch, a 1-year-old dog, adds an extra layer of warmth to her life. In her downtime, Desiree delights in the art of cooking and cherishes moments spent with her fiancé, friends, and family. This well-rounded approach to life mirrors her commitment to providing a rich and diverse educational experience for her students.
