Card Program Guidelines, Policies & Procedures
Cards, and donations from card usage, are not transferrable to other families.
If a parent moves to a different school within the Jeffco Schools Foundation area, the school can be changed on the parent’s account.
If a parent moves out of the Jeffco Schools Foundation area, the donations from their card(s) go to the Jeffco Schools Foundation general fund account.
The cardholder cannot designate the funds to another family or a school.
All funds accumulated after expenses go to the Jeffco Schools Foundation general fund account
to be disbursed to Jeffco schools.
New or replacement King Soopers Cards cost $2.50 and come preloaded with $2.50 on them, and may change in the future due to King Soopers policies.
New or replacement Safeway/Albertsons Cards cost $5.00 and come preloaded with $5.00 on them, and may change in the future due to Safeway/Albertsons policies.
King Soopers Cards automatically deactivate after 90 days with a zero balance, and may change in the future due to King Soopers policies.
King Soopers, Safeway/Albertsons and other card providers, determine the percentage donated and the frequency of the donation. The donation is the property of the Jeffco Schools Foundation. The donation can ONLY be used to pay the obligated expenses. Card users cannot receive cash for the donation.
Donations are sent directly to the individual schools from the Jeffco Schools Foundation.
The Jeffco Schools Foundation, King Soopers, Safeway/Albertsons, other card providers and Jeffco schools are not responsible for the value of lost cards.
