Hi Weber Community! I am a native of Colorado and grew up in the Denver Highlands area. Outside of school time, I love to spend time with my family, discover new hiking trails and read great books. I attended Regis University for both my undergraduate and Master's degree.  Go Rangers!!!  I have been working in the special education field for nearly 9 years and am passionate about helping students reach their ultimate goals in life.

Kate Noyes
Learning Specialist

Allow me to introduce myself. Four years ago I married the love
of my life (Doug Grundy) and gained two amazing children (Ava and Eli Grundy). Then we were able to bring Phineas, now a busy three year old, into the world. He came on his own time, so we now know who calls the shots in our house. This will be my 17th year of teaching. I started out teaching mild
moderate special education and then went into behavior special education. Since then,
I have taught First grade for a year and Third grade for seven years. I am lucky enough to be back in the position of Learning Specialist.

I am proud to be a speech/language pathologist (SLP) in Jeffco!  I have worked in the field of speech/language pathology for more than
20 years in both school and hospital settings.  I received my bachelor and master degrees from Colorado State University in Fort Collins........Go RAMS!.  I love working with kids and I have wonderful elementary and preschool teammates in both of my schools, Weber and Warder. I am married and have two delightful children.  We enjoy camping, sports, exercising, reading, music, and eating meals together as a family.

I grew up outside Boston, and love my Red Sox, but I have considered Colorado home since 1980. I love animals and photography
and spend as much time with my critters, in nature and with my camera as possible. This is my 2
2nd year in education, and 11th at Weber.  I am the school social worker with the Voyager Program. I am also our GT building liaison, one of the student council sponsors and one of the Girl Scout Troop Leaders.
Brian Beckwith
Voyager Program K-3 Teacher
I grew up in and all around the great state of California, at times living near the beach, the bay, and the mountains. I met my wife in San Francisco, and in 2011, we settled in beautiful Colorado with our toddler Forrest and baby Rowan. While in California, I earned a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz (yes, you can call me a banana slug and I won't be offended).  I also earned an MA in Psychology and later, my teaching credential from California State University at Sonoma. This will be my 12th year teaching my 6th year as a member of our Voyager team.
